Salesian Family Assembly Get to know our guest speaker

During our Salesian Family Assembly we have the privilege to hear from an international Salesian - Fr Eric Mairura. Eric was born in Kenya in the late 60’s and became a Salesian priest in April 2008. He currently belongs to the RMG Province in Rome but originally is from the Salesian Province of Tanzania.

After ordination, Eric held different responsibilities in his province of origin (AFE) including Provincial Economer of the Province of Easter Africa for 9 years.

Currently, he is a member of the team in the Sector for the Missions – Rome, entrusted with the responsibility of Coordinating the Don Bosco Mission Procures that are under the Rector Major and the Provincial Mission Offices. Among other responsibilities in the Sector, he assists the Councillor for the Missions in Missionary animation of the regions of East Asia Oceania and Africa & Madagascar.
